Over 1 in 4 Children Will Face CPS by Age 18
Over 1 in 4 children in the United States — about 26% — will face a CPS investigation before they turn 18.
Most of these cases are based on unfounded allegations. And what happens next often places children into environments far worse than the ones they were taken from.
CPS involvement doesn’t just mean paperwork. It means:
• Isolation trauma — being ripped away from everything familiar.
• Severed bonds — losing the connection with safe, loving parents and siblings.
• Institutional scars — children raised as wards of the state, shuffled between strangers, learning they are disposable.
This isn’t protection. It’s commoditization. And it destroys lives under the banner of “best interest.”
So ask yourself: what kind of future are you setting your children up for?
If the state can decide at any moment to sever your family, if 1 in 4 kids will be investigated, and if the system profits from your child’s removal—
maybe the most radical act is to reconsider bringing them into this world at all. Do NOT have children.
